Kevin Lewis has been involved in boating since the 70's, having owned and built many boats, mainly recreational.

In the 90's he was involved in the tourism industry, Bus and Boat tours and Helicopter joy flights in and around Adelaide South Australia.

Early in 2003 he completed his coxswain course in Port Adelaide and going on to his Master 5. For the last eight years he has been involved in design, manufacture, service and maintenance of inflatable lifejackets (PFD1's)
